Offline maps are maps available for download for free through the Deeper app, as long as you are logged in with your account.
You can download a huge range of offline maps for the different locations you fish. We recommend doing this before you set off on your trip using your home internet connection as it will be faster.
To download offline maps, go to Settings, choose Offline maps from the menu and download the maps for your desired location.
Afterwards, whenever you use the bathymetric mapping function, the map of the area will load from your phone memory, instead of the internet. So, you won't need any internet connection at all to see the map of the area, as long as you have an offline map of that area downloaded.
There is no need to adjust any settings in order to use the downloaded offline map. It will be loading from phone memory automatically when you are using Boat mode (Deeper 3.0 / PRO / CHIRP) or On-shore GPS mode (PRO+ and CHIRP+ only), or when you view your bathymetric maps via History.
