How do I calibrate the Autopilot of my Deeper Quest bait boat, and when is calibration necessary?

Usually, you will never need to calibrate your Deeper Quest. All devices are factory calibrated, and it's designed to work accurately right out of the box. Performing a calibration before every fishing session will not improve the accuracy of the Autopilot.

Calibration is only necessary if you notice that the Autopilot is not working well during your fishing experience. If everything is functioning properly, there's no need to recalibrate.

Here's how you can calibrate the Autopilot of your Deeper Quest bait boat:

  1. Place your Deeper Quest on a level surface outside (calibration does not require being near a lake).
  2. Turn on the Deeper Quest and the controller.
  3. Connect to the bait boat using the Fish Deeper app.
  4. Open the Quest Autopilot control panel (where you manage Autopilot missions).
  5. In the top-right corner, tap the three dots and select the option to start the calibration.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the app to complete the calibration process. It’s a simple and straightforward procedure.
