I Deeper PRO+ e CHIRP+ hanno un ricevitore GPs che abilita questi dipositivi a mappare Il vostro luogo di pesca creando mappe batimetriche dei contorni del fondo mentre pescate dalla riva. La modalità GPS Onshore opera nello stesso modo della Modalità Barca, ma invece di utilizzare il GPS del vostro telefono, la modalità GPS Onshore utilizza il ricevitore GPS interno installato nel vostro Deeper PRO+ o CHIRP+.
Quando utilizzate la Modalità GPS Onshore, noterete una icona di status del GPS in alto nello schermo.
Good fix. When the GPS icon is green and remains constantly on the screen, this means the location of your Deeper has been fixed exactly. All GPS data is suitable for bottom contour mapping, so you are ready to start mapping.
Acquiring position. When the GPS icon is orange and blinking, this means your Deeper is processing satellite information and currently your location is either unknown (your Deeper Smart Sonar isn’t shown on the map) or not precise enough to be used for bathymetry (your Deeper Smart Sonar is shown on the map). It is likely that sometimes the GPS status will reverse from good fix back to acquiring position when you recast your Deeper. After a long period without use (several days/weeks),the device may take longer to acquire a GPS position when placed into the water.
Signal unavailable. When the GPS icon is red, this means there is no GPS signal. This status might occur when your Deeper is used indoors, inside a vehicle, under the roof of a boat, under the dense foliage, or in other harsh natural conditions (e.g. in gorges, in rough water). This can also occur if your Deeper is submerged under water.
